publications and reports throughout the year, providing informative material to
Falkland Islands farm and the wider community.

Agricultural Leaflet
A informative leaflet on
Agriculture in
the Falkland Islands. We also have a flyer

Snout &
About
We have a new publication called
Snout & About which is all about pigs! This
publication will be produced every couple of months. |

Farm Management Handbook
The
FMH is produced and circulated by
the Department of Agriculture as a free reference point for the farming
community, providing information on animal welfare, DOA trials etc.

Department of Agriculture Business
Plan
The DOA has a published 10 year
business plan which is reviewed annually.

Biennial Report
Every second year, a
comprehensive breakdown of departmental activities and published in the form of
a Biennial Report.
We have recently completed the
2008/2010 Biennial Report.
The previous
Biennial Reports are still available for online viewing.

Farming Statistics
Every year the Farming Statistics are compiled from information returned in the
annual Stock Return (completed by farmers). They include animal numbers and
movements, settlement populations and amount of land farmed in the Islands.

Wool Press
Monthly the Department of Agriculture
prepares a publication filled with information on departmental activities,
farming related information articles and often views and practices from farmers
themselves are shared with the general community.
Please note that we now only be uploading the Wool Press a month after it is
